Please know that you are in our prayers at this time.
What do I do first?
Please contact the funeral home to set up a meeting with a funeral director. The funeral director will then contact and work with the church office to plan your loved one’s funeral. If you are having a Mass, please see the funeral selections at the bottom of this page. You can begin to looking at funeral readings, music and other arrangements.
Types of Funerals
Some people choose to have a funeral Mass at the church. Others prefer a memorial service at the funeral home or graveside.
Funeral Mass in Church
A funeral Mass would involve a Mass of Christian Burial where the family would bring the body or cremains of their loved one to the church for a Catholic Mass in which the priest would celebrate the Mass including the Sacrament of the Eucharist with the family and then bless the body before final commendation at their final resting place. Sometimes a family will choose to take their loved one to their final resting place at a later date than the funeral.
Please note that funeral Masses can be planned Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday at either 10:00 AM or 11:30 AM, permitting the schedules of the priests as well as availability of the church.
Memorial Services
Memorial Services can be scheduled for the funeral home or at the graveside permitting the schedules of the priests or deacon. If you have any questions regarding the funeral Mass/service, please call the Parish Office.
